Eriksen Nording

Erik Nørding rose to prominence during the “Danish Invasion” of the ’60s and ’70s, introducing affordable yet beautiful Danish‑style freehand pipes to the U.S. market. With his engineering background, he even designed the machinery used to craft them. Nørding is famously selective about his briar, choosing only blocks from trees that grow high on rocky hillsides — where limited water makes the wood harder and better suited for his pipes.
